A chance sighting of the crepuscular rays over this freshly harvested field saw me rush back with my camera. With the sun rapidly dipping below the horizon, it was a race to find the composition I wanted. Once set up, it took some considerable effort to move the two bales in the foreground just a few inches so I could draw the eye towards the focal point in the distance.

Mam Tor in the Peak District offers one of the finest views in all of Derbyshire and I was fortunate enough to capture this glorious sunrise in the summer of 2020.

Seeing a sunrise in the Lake District is always a wonderful experience but I will never forget dawn breaking over Blea Tarn lighting up the Langdale Pikes in the distance. What an an absolute privilege it was to capture such a magical moment as the fells absorbed the golden warmth of the early morning sun.

Herdwicks peacefully graze near Elterwater in the Lake District as a forest of vibrant autumn colours contrast the magnificent snow capped Pike O’Blisco.

When enveloped in gorgeous autumn colours, the Halnaker tree tunnel in West Sussex looks absolutely stunning. The path leads up to a very picturesque windmill with views across the valley towards Chichester Cathedral along the way.

The view across the valley towards Teston Bridge catches everyone's eye and none more so than when the early morning mist is rising. I was there to capture this scene at dawn but my patience was tested as it took nearly two hours before the bridge started to appear.

A magnificent rainbow captured after rainfall in Nettlestead, Maidstone, Kent. The addition of the tractor made for an perfect focal point.

After taking some shots of Leeds Castle near Maidstone I saw this view on the path back home and despite a slight feeling of frostbite something compelled me to get all my camera equipment out again and capture the beautiful simplicity of the scene.

Aylesford sits on the River Medway just outside Maidstone. The quaint village church stands proudly majestic Medieval bridge. This picture was taken at 8.09am on a cold frosty January morning. The natural arcs formed in the foreground of the low tide reflect the arches of the bridge and the cloud formation.
